Booking Policy:

No cancellations or changes allowed within 24 hours of the appointment. We take a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. This goes towards your treatment on the day. We require strictly 24 hours notice of any cancellation, change to appointment time or booked treatments. Less notice for any reason forfeits the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to the next appointment with 24 hours notice.

Gift Voucher redemption bookings require 24hrs notice or the gift voucher becomes void. If you cancel a gift voucher booking outside of the 24hrs notice on the first occasion, we will allow a reschedule however if it happens the second time the gift voucher will become void.

Be Fashionably Early:

Appointments must finish at the allotted time, so arrive 15 minutes early to start winding down in the lounge & ensure maximum treatment time.  Should for any reason you arrive past the start time of your appointment, we will do our best to get your full time however this is not always possible and you will be charged for the full amount of the original booking should you get less time due to you being late.

Confirming Appointments:

We send a courtesy reminder sms, email or phone call 3 days prior to your appointment. Please reply 'yes' to confirm or call us if you need to change. If we don't hear from you we will attempt to call you 1 day prior to confirm.   If we can't get in touch to confirm, your appointment may be made available to the next person on our waiting list, as we have generally found that if someone doesn't confirm they are unable to attend.   If you choose not to provide your mobile number  & email address we require 100% pre-payment.

Rebooking, Changing, Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments:

We kindly request 24 hours notice when you need to change or cancel a booking, or part of a booking.  Less than 24 hours notice will result in forfeit of the deposit, or you may choose to send someone in your place. we cannot accept cancellations left as messages on Sundays or public holidays when we are closed.

Gift Voucher Policy:

We truly want you to enjoy your gift voucher, please follow the guidelines below:

  • All Urban Skin Spa Gift Vouchers have a 6-month validity to encourage you to use them sooner.
  • Redemptions of Gift Vouchers - can only be rescheduled once.  If you require to reschedule your second appointment, we kindly as you to find someone to fill your appointment time slot or the Gift Voucher does become void. We are believe that we are fair and each situation is dealt with on an individual case-by-case scenario.
  • Must be used within the 6mths from the date of purchase.

Series Treatments:

Are you a regular Urban Devotee or want to be? We want to help you save when you purchase any 5 of the same treatments and get your 6th one treatment for free.  Great value. All Urban Skin Spa Booking Policies apply to the Series Treatments.

Group Bookings, Sparties & Doubles Treatments:

We love having the privilege to make your celebration an exquisite experience.  All group bookings, sparties & couples treatments require 50% of the treatment to secure the booking.   Any individual who cancels within the 24hr period from the time of the booking will loose there 50% security deposit & the outstanding amount will still be required to be paid.

Triples Bookings:

Should you wish to have a treatment together for three people in the same room, we kindly ask for a surcharge of $15 for us to set up & reset the treatment room.

Ensuring You Get An Appointment:

make sure you're on the appointment regular guest-list and avoid disappointment by securing your next time before you leave. This is the only way to ensure you will get the time, day or therapist that you love.   So bring your diary.

Children & Parental Consent For Under 16 Years Of Age:

We have no problem in accommodating your needs as long as we can find a way to not interrupt other guests.  Please mention this at the time of booking.

Bubs In Mums Arm’s Day:

First Tuesday of every month is devoted to mum’s and dad’s where you can bring your babe in with you.  Bring a bouncer and toys so you can lie back and enjoy some pampering.

If you're under 16 you'll need to get parental consent for your treatments, so you will need to have a parent attend the first appointment with you and sign the urban client profile form.

Sunday & Public Holidays:

We currently take Sunday bookings according to the following terms:

  • Minimum 3hr booking
  • 25% surcharge on booking total & 50% deposit required of the total booking taken to secure the appointment.
  • 24hr Cancellation Policy applies

What To Bring:

Please wear comfortable clothes including loose & dark clothes for a spray tan, open shoes for a pedicure and bring swimwear if having a hydro spa or sauna.

Health Consideration:

We are in the business of assisting you in improving balance in your life, our beauty therapist will ask you to fill out a client confidentiality form to help us help you.  There are also some treatments that we do not recommend for pregnant women.  Please mention this when booking your ‘treat’ment.  The minimum age of entry into Urban is 16 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult.

Gift Voucher:

Give the gift of Urban relaxation, which are presented with love.  Minimum amount is $ 20 or choose from any of our Urban Journeys or products.  They are not transferable for cash and are non-refundable.

Payment Options:

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards and eftpos for payments of $10 or more.  We do not accept american express or diner’s club.*  ‘treat’ments and product prices are true and correct at time of printing August 2015.  We recommend you confirm prices at booking & reserve the right to change prices with out notice.
